Group Sessions

Pay as you go sessions using acrylic which are relaxed and loosely structured. They are bi-weekly but not always regular through the busy exhibiting season. You can come along to sessions when it suits you, just book online.

I suggest a subject for each session, but anyone can work on a painting they've started and want to finish or start something different if they wish. The same goes for your choice of painting style, representational, semi abstract or abstract are all used within these sessions. The aim is to find your own personal way of painting that makes you excited.

I begin by playing a video showing the creation of a painting from start to finish so you know what the aim is. Then

spend the session working with each artist to help push their painting to a conclusion.

Workshops are fun

Come along to a session and find a supportive group of like-minded art lovers. Learn how to really enjoy painting by listening to your own instinct and intuition.

What do the artists get out of my workshops?

There are a maximum of nine in the group giving me time to spend with you. You will experiment with different subjects to learn how to use acrylic paints, look at composition, work with colour, concentrate on colour balance and use techniques to find your unique style and create great paintings.

What do I get out of the workshops?

I absolutely love showing you what I have learned over my life-long time painting. My painting style developed in the last few years thanks to finding my joy in painting. I learned to let go and follow my instinct. Thanks to the sessions I have created many works myself and have been very excited by the paintings made by the participants.

Established artists attend courses

Artists are all different, always moving on and developing, sometimes we want to try out different styles or change our colour palette and use new techniques to add to our repertoire. The best way to do that is to join another artist's workshops. It is great for participants to see how other established artists interpret a subject.
